This position requires you to handle a team of IT professionals to maintain data security. The responsibility of a security manager is to ensure the maintenance of security protocols across the company. His other work includes timely reviewing of existing policies and upgrades as and when needed. The average pay package of a security manager is over Rs 10 Lakhs per annum.

  1. Network Security Engineer

The average remuneration for a beginner in this position is around 6 Lakhs PA. The role of a Network Security Engineer is to check and counter online threats through the strict implementation of security systems. 

  1. Security Analyst

As a security analyst, you’re required to assist in planning, implementing and upgrading security concerns. You will also conduct tests to detect problem areas and audit security access. The annual salary for a beginner in this position is around 6 Lakhs per annum. 

  1. Cyber Lawyer

This is an emerging position and a great one for someone with an interest in both computers and law. A cyber lawyer is basically a techno-legal lawyer with expertise in the technical aspects of computers, networks, and communication devices along with legal knowledge. 

  1. Security Architect

This role will require you to design the network and cyber safety architecture as per the need of an organization. You will also be formulating the policies and procedures for the workforce to use the security system. The annual income for this position is over Rs 15 Lakhs PA.
