LinkedIn has released its list of 25 best companies to work for in 2021 in India. The list includes notable companies from the IT sector such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc. along with the largest private sector banks like HDFC Bank. 

“It is the fifth annual launch by LinkedIn and also the debut of our all-new methodology that leverages LinkedIn data to unveil the companies that invest in their resources. These 25 companies will assist employees to create a strong foundation that takes them towards the path of success,” said LinkedIn in a statement. 

The new methodology launched by LinkedIn has seven significant key pillars namely, ability to drive, skill growth, company stability, external opportunity, gender diversity, company affinity, and educational background.   

List of 25 best workplaces to uplift your career in 2021

1. TCS tops the list with a headcount of nearly 4.7 Lakh employees of all the IT companies in the country. The company’s goal is to enable 75% of its workforce to work remotely by 2025. TCS has also declared two salary hikes in the last six months for its employees with an attrition rate of 7.2% in the last quarter. 

2. The second position is occupied by Cognizant. The New Jersey-based IT company plans to recruit around 23000 freshers in 2021in multiple domains like the internet of things, cybersecurity, data, cloud, digital engineering etc. The company also claims to have trained a large number of employees in digital skills over the last 18 months. 

3. The third best company on the list is Accenture. The IT company is displaying robust growth in outsourcing revenue and demand for digital transformation services.

Methodology used for ranking

A company can get enrolled in the LinkedIn list of best workplaces only if it is having a minimum of 500 employees as of December 31, 2020, in India. Secondly, the attrition rate of the company should not be higher than 10%.
