Apple usually banks upon Taiwanese manufacturing giants like Wistron and Foxconn Technology Group for the manufacturing and assembly of its iPhones. But if the Tata group successfully cracks the deal, we will soon have an iPhone made in India which will also affect china's dominance in the electronics sector.

Tata Group focuses to complete the process by March 31, 2023, so that they can officially take over Wistron`s government incentive program.

If the takeover happens without any halt by March, the group will get government incentives from April 1, 2023.

If Wistron meets the incentive requirements, the purchase should value its iPhone production operation in India at greater than $600 million, according to the report. This takeover could be a massive boost to India.

Wistron, Foxconn, and Pegatron Corp are India's three Taiwanese iPhone manufacturers.

The 2.2 million-square-foot production plant is located just over 50 kilometers east of Bengaluru and Tata Group will take over all the 8 iPhone traces in addition to the plant`s 10,000 workers, along with engineers if the deal goes through.
