IIT Madras Recruitment 2021: Apply For Project Engineers; Salary up to 1,50,000; Apply before 29 January
IIT Madras has invited applications from eligible candidates for 10 project vacancies available at its Department of Electrical Engineering.
IIT Madras is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for 10 posts for a project titled “Centre for Programmable Photonic Circuits and Systems (CPPICS)” available at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Chosen candidates will at first be engaged for a period of one year, which is extendable up to five years based on the performance of the individual. Based on the capabilities of the candidates and the post for which they are selected, a monthly salary of Rs 21,500 to 1,50,000 will be paid.
Who can Apply for the Extend Positions at IIT Madras?
The notices issued on the IIT Madras website states that out of the 10 openings that are available, 1 is for Chief Technology Officer (CTO), 3 are for Senior Project Officers, 5 are for Project Associate, and 1 is for Junior Research Fellow.
The eligibility required to apply for the post is as follows:

Project Associate Post-(5) | BTech, BE, AMIE, or Master’s degree in science with 60% or 6.5 CGPA and above. GATE qualification would be desirable | Rs. 21,500 |
Junior Research Fellow Post-(1) | BTech or BE in engineering (or) Master’s Degree in science or management with 60% or 6.5 CGPA and above with two years’ experience in microelectronics and/or photonics industry or research lab | Rs. 31,000 |
How to Apply for the Extend Positions at IIT Madras?
Candidates who have the specified qualifications may apply online on the IIT Madras website before 29 January 2021. A separate application has to be filled for each post, and the system will accept only one application with the registered login ID. Those who wish to apply for the vacancies are advised to go through the official notification in detail and after that submit the online applications on the IIT Madras site.
